Love day is a day when the C3 community pours out into our Toronto community. We donate our time for the joy of giving back. So join us on Dec 7th as we pour our love into the city of Toronto.
There are limited spaces available per organisation, so when you sign up you are taking a place no one but you can fill. Please be mindful of this so we can serve the organisations with the maximum number of people possible!
The Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto helps support the journey that people living with dementia and their families and caregivers undertake every day.
Group Flyer Distribution – Volunteers will be distributing brochures to promote the annual Alzheimer’s Walk to local businesses.
Youth Without Shelter works to empower youth facing homelessness to reach their individual potential.
Cooking – Volunteers will be preparing a meal for the youth at Youth Without Shelter.
Horizons for Youth is a shelter for at-risk and homeless youth between the ages of 16-24 in Toronto. We provide youth with the support they need to escape from the cycle of poverty and leave the streets behind.

Matthew House provides shelter and support to refugees, ensuring that their individual needs are met and empowering them to restart their lives in Canada.
Matthew House Christmas Party – Volunteers will be setting up, prepping, serving dinner and cleaning up for Matthew House’s annual Christmas Party.
Philip Aziz Centre for Hospice Care provides respite, practical, physical, emotional and spiritual support for people living with life-threatening illnesses and their loved ones, in the comfort of their own home.
Holiday Prep – Volunteers will be cleaning, organizing and preparing Philip Aziz Centre for Hospice and Emily’s House for the Christmas season.
The Kennedy House Youth Shelter provides a safe living environment for youth ages 16-24 who have complex needs and are experiencing homelessness. They offer programming that helps the youth stay healthy as well as access jobs, permanent housing, clothing and other supplies that will assist them as they transition to a successful future.
Clothing Store + Christmas Gift Wrapping – Volunteers will be organizing clothing donations and setting up a ‘store’ for the youth at this shelter to pick their own clothes, in addition to wrapping Christmas presents for youth at Kennedy House.
As one of the world’s leading child development organizations, Compassion partners with the local church in 25 countries to end poverty in the lives of children and their families.
Letter Writing – Volunteers will be making Compassion cards and writing letters to unsponsored children through Compassion.
YWCA Toronto transforms the lives of marginalized and disadvantaged women and girls in Toronto. They do this by being a strong advocate for women and girls, providing transformative services in the areas of employment support and training, housing options and shelters, leadership development programs for girls and key supports for women and children who have experienced violence.
Paint Night – Volunteers will be hosting a Paint Party for the women and children at YWCA.
The High Park Nature Centre’s mission is to promote awareness and respect for nature through year-round, hands-on outdoor nature education and park stewardship.
Maintenance + Hike – Volunteers will be doing a deep clean of High Park Nature Centre’s pantry and ending of the event with a hike around the park.
Variety Village provides inclusive and family-friendly fitness, sports and life skills for all abilities.
Firefighter Christmas Party – Volunteers will setting up, helping to run and cleaning up Variety Village’s Fire-fighter Christmas Party, along with helping run their toy drive.
The Good Shepherd provides a hot meal, clean clothes, a safe space, programs, and a clean bed for the homeless and the marginalized.
Bedding for Emergency Beds – Volunteers will be changing over the bedding at The Good Shepherd’s emergency bed area.
The St Felix Centre is a compassionate and faith-inspired community for marginalized individuals in downtown Toronto providing community meals, drop in programs and more.
Community Meals Program – Volunteers will be preparing and serving meals to guests as part of St Felix’s Community Meals Program.
Fight4Freedom is an active voice and advocate of justice for women and men who are victimized by human trafficking and sexual exploitation – to further assist them in finding the necessary support that will aid them in their journey of safety, freedom, healing, and restoration.
Christmas Care Packages – Volunteers will be assembling care packages for those that Fight4Freedom serves, along with making cards to go along with them.
The Red Door Shelter assists families, refugees and women who are fleeing violence by providing emergency shelter, necessary counselling and health care. Later providing outreach services designed to assist families to remain housed and independent in the community.
Family Party – Volunteers will be hosting a party for the women and children at Red Door Shelter.
Sistering is a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed.
Paint Party – Volunteers will be hosting a Paint Party for the women at Sistering.
Second harvest rescues good healthy food from across the supply chain – from farmers, processor, manufacturers, distribution centres and large retailers, then delivers that food to a network of social service agencies.
Annual Turkey Drive – Volunteers will be collecting turkeys for Second Harvest’s Annual Turkey Drive.
