Pastors Sam & Jess are convicted about speaking the truth of God’s word in a real and relevant way, highlighting the Bible’s practical application in people’s lives. God has given them a vision and passion for helping people begin a relationship with Jesus, encounter His Presence and be transformed by His love.
Their journey began in Australia, where they met, fell in love, and got married. From there God impressed a vision upon their hearts to plant a church in Canada. The journey began in Calgary, Alberta in 2008 where they served under the leadership of C3 Canada’s oversights, Ps Lorne and Kelly Tebbutt. Over the span of four years, God began to highlight Toronto as a city that was in need of community, in need of a place to call home for people to experience Jesus and connect to Him on a deeper level. In 2012, Ps Sam and Jess moved to Toronto with a team of six who had a vision to build a “how can this be” church that we now know as C3 Toronto. Years later, now with their kids, Noah and Kenzie, and a growing team, they are still true to that ever-growing vision for the church.
True worship to us means living our lives in constant praise to our King, continually led by the Spirit, the entire week, all of the time. Our team is passionate to lift up the name of Jesus far past the impact of church on Sunday. Our mission is to lead people into His presence, and to direct everyone to Him through the power of poured out worship.
Pastor Phil is passionate about building faith-filled, anointed churches that are motivated to reach the lost and make disciples. His heart is to see local churches thrive in their community through functioning in the power of the Holy Spirit and feeding on the Word of God. Mama Chris, as she is affectionately known, brings life, revelation, healing and joy. Everyone who experiences her ministry will find themselves inspired, encouraged and changed.
