Pastors Sam and Jess Picken are convicted about speaking the truth of God’s word in a real and relevant way by highlighting the Bible’s practical application in people’s lives.
Their journey began in Australia, where they met, fell in love, and got married. From there, God impressed a vision upon their hearts to plant a church in Canada. They moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2008 where they served under the leadership of C3 Canada’s oversights, Pastors Lorne and Kelly Tebbutt. Over the span of four years, God began to highlight Toronto as a city that was in need of community, in need of a place for people to call home and experience Jesus, and in need of a space to connect with Him on a deeper level. In 2012, Pastors Sam and Jess moved to Toronto with a team of six people who had a vision to build a “How Can this Be” church that we now know as C3 Toronto.
We believe that true worship means living our whole lives in constant praise to our King, continually led by the Spirit, the entire week, all of the time. Our team is passionate about introducing the community to Jesus Christ, not just during church on Sundays, but in everything we do every day of the week. Our mission is to lead people into His presence, and to direct everyone to Him through the power of unrestrained worship.

Like you, we look forward to the day when we can physically gather together again.
We are encouraged that the government in Ontario has been loosening restrictions over the course of this past week.
As we look at next steps, our priority continues to be your health and wellbeing. We want to be responsible and ensure your safety is paramount as we consider re-opening.
With this said, we will not be meeting physically for the foreseeable future. We are actively working on a plan for when we will be able to gather together physically. We will be communicating in the Weekly Dose, on our website and via social media as we move closer to a reopening date.
For now, we will continue to gather together Online on Sundays, and virtually in our Connect Groups each week until further notice. We look forward to continuing to worship with you on Sundays and chatting with you via the Online Experience.
